Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban go their separate ways after after 19 years

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s relationship has ended. According to sources familiar with the matter, who spoke to TMZ, the 58-year-old actress and the 57-year-old singer have separated after 19 years of marriage. The decision was reportedly unilateral, as the Oscar winner was reportedly still trying to “save the marriage.” However, the songwriter opted to purchase property in Nashville and live separately.

“[Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban] have been living separately since early summer,” the insider tells the US tabloid. “She has been taking care of their daughters and keeping the family together during this difficult time since Keith left. [Nicole] didn’t want the separation and was trying to save the marriage, but Keith bought his own place in Nashville and moved out of the family home,” the source added.

With almost two decades of marriage, the now ex-couple share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Although Kidman revealed that Urban took “months” to call her, the attraction for the actress was instant, so shortly after that long-awaited call, they started dating.

After a year of dating, the couple tied the knot in Sydney, Australia, in 2006. Shortly after, they welcomed their first child, Sunday Rose, and later her sister, Faith Margaret. Since then, Nicole and Keith have established themselves as one of the strongest couples in showbiz, until now, when their split has been revealed.

At the moment, the reasons for the breakup are unknown.
