On which platform can I watch the Gru movies and what is the order?

Follow the exploits and adventures of the inimitable, follically-challenged super agent Gru and his three adopted daughters from the first movie to the latest release.

Felonius Gru, the beak-nosed former supervillain, who mended his evil ways to follow a more righteous path in life returns in Despicable M4 which premiered in New York City last month and goes on general release from this week. In the latest episode of the saga, Gru and his family have been given new identities and are lying low, hiding in a safehouse in another town after it emerged that Max Superball, the criminal he helped to put behind bars, has broken out of prison in a giant bronze machine and is on the run.

Max has developed a terrifying new weapon that converts its victims into cockroach hybrids and he is plotting to use it has Gru’s baby son Gru Jr. to wreak his revenge. To find out whether Gru can ward off the henious Max and keep his family safe, you will have to watch the film to find out how it all unravels. Despicable Me 4 premiered at the Jazz at Lincoln Center on 9 June and in Europe at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival four days later. The film finally hit the big screen in the United States on 3 July.

Despicable M4 will stream on subscription platform Peacock for the first four months of the pay-TV window, before heading over to Netflix for the next ten months then back to Peacock for the remaining four. Peacock offer several different plans for viewers in the United States and Canada, starting at $6 a month for the Premium Plan to $12 a month/$120 a year for Premium Plus which is ad-free.

The Despicable Me franchise has been hugely success, grossing over $4.6 billion at the box office. All if the movies are available to hire on various streaming services as well as in physical format (DVD, Blu-ray... etc) with various extras.

How can I watch all of the ‘Despicable Me’ movies?

Despicable Me, the first movie is the first of the series and hit screens in July 2010. Subscribers to Peacock, TNT, TruTV, TBS and Crunchyroll.

The sequel, Despicable Me 2, in which Gru is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to restore law and order by tackling a powerful new super criminal, is available to watch on Peacock, TNT, TruTV, TBS and Crunchyroll (free to monthly subscribers) as well as to rent from Apple TV ($3.99), Amazon Video ($3.79) VUDU ($3.99), Flixfling ($3.99) and Spectrum ($3.99).

Released in 2017, Despicable Me 3 is available to stream for the next 27 days on Peacock. Other subscription services offering the movie include: TNT, TruTV, TBS and Crunchyroll. Alternatively, it can be rented from Apple TV ($3.99), Amazon Video ($3.79) VUDU ($3.99) and Flixfling ($3.99).

Minions is available to subscribers through Netflix and Crunchyroll or to rent from Apple TV ($3.99), Amazon Video ($3.79) VUDU ($3.99) and Flixfling ($3.99).
