Paris Hilton encourages Lindsay Lohan after pregnancy announcement
The ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer and recent mother advised Lohan to soak up every precious moment of motherhood.
Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have a long history of friendship, wild parties and trouble-making, and falling out, but when it comes down to what really matters in life, the two women bury the hatchet as they look toward motherhood.
Paris Hilton spoke encouraging words to her long-time frenemy, after Lohan announced she is pregnant on Tuesday.
The ‘Parent Trap’ actress announced on Instagram that she and her husband, Bader Shammas are expecting their first baby.
Paris boosts up Lohan
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Hilton said she was excited for her friend, and offered some advice, as Hilton is a new mother herself.
“I’m so excited for her,” Hilton exclaimed. “It’s just exciting to see all of my friends growing up and starting families on their own.”
“My advice is just to soak in every moment,” Hilton continued, “because it’s just so precious.”
Lindsay Lohan posts about her pregnancy
Lohan posted a simple photo of a white baby’s onesie, with the words, “Coming soon,” written across the photo.
In the caption, Lohan expressed her gratitude.
“We are blessed and excited!” the star wrote.
Hilton was quick to respond to her pal’s pregnancy post.
“Congratulations love! So happy for you. Welcome to the Mommy Club!” Hilton wrote in the comments.
Hilton and Lohan’s long friendship
Though the two celebrities have had their feuds in decades past, Hilton and Lohan have grown up and moved on.
When Lohan and Shammas’ marriage was announced in November 2021, Hilton congratulated her friend on the engagement during her ‘This is Paris’ podcast.
“I also just saw that Lindsay got engaged,” Hilton said. “And I know we’ve had our differences in the past, but I just wanted to say congratulations to her and that I am genuinely very happy for her.”
