Paris Hilton is already prepared for another baby
The heiress spoke openly about pursuing a baby girl this time around, as she details the strenuous process of surrogacy.
Paris Hilton is on a tour to promote her new book, ‘Paris: A Memoir’, but the heiress’ favorite topic is all about her son, baby Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, and her experience with motherhood so far. Hilton even spilled that she and her husband, Carter Reum, are already looking into surrogacy selection for a female baby.
The couple brought home their son in January 2023, and they kept the surrogacy a secret until a week later.
New book, new mom
Paris Hilton gushed about being a new mom in a Tuesday interview on the TalkShopLive stream, and how excited she was to have a baby sister for her baby boy to grow up with.
“I love being a new mom,” the 42-year-old said dreamily. “I’m so in love with my little angel. He is so sweet and so adorable and every night when I’m laying with him he lays on my chest and he just looks up at me and I melt.’
‘I’m really excited for Phoenix to have a baby sister one day named London,” Hilton continued. “It’s my favorite city and I’ve always wanted to name my daughter London.”
Boy or girl?
Paris Hilton elaborated on the careful family planning she and he husband embarked on to expand their clan, and that the couple pointedly wanted to have a boy first.
“I wanted to have a boy first because I feel like having a big brother, I wish that I had one, because I feel like a lot of things that happened to me wouldn’t have happened if I had a big brother to protect me,” Hilton lamented.
[Phoenix] is such a good baby. Like hardly ever cries,” Hilton continued. “He is on such a great sleeping schedule. He’s the most adorable, beautiful baby I’ve ever seen in my life.’
Hilton opens up about surrogacy
Hilton got deep about the surrogacy process in an interview with Glamour Magazine, and the extraneous efforts she and Reum took to have their first child, and that they continue with IVF rounds today — but with the focused efforts to have a girl.
“We’ve done it seven times… I have all boys. I have 20 boys,” Paris Hilton said. “I just went through the process again a month ago, so I’m waiting for the results to see if there’s any girls.”
