Paris Hilton to host metaverse reality dating show ‘Parisland’

Paris Hilton and Sandbox are teaming up for the first-ever metaverse reality dating show.

The socialite and reality show have teamed up with the gaming virtual world, The Sandbox, to create ‘Parisland’, which is something between a game and an interactive TV Show.

Beginning just in time for Valentine’s Day, players will be able to virtually meet five other players, complete quests, and ultimately choose a partner starting February 13.

According to a statement from Sandbox, ‘Parisland’ is a romantic metaverse adventure set on a tropical island featuring Paris Hilton as their host. The reality TV show game hybrid will last exactly a month from February 13 to March 13.

Players can earn special rewards as they participate in Paris’ reality show, which will have special challenges such as rescuing a castaway or finding the secret of the chef’s famed Love Burger.

After players complete all the quests and finalize their choice of partner, they are invited to virtually attend their wedding with Hilton herself as their DJ for their special night.

“I can’t think of a better way to light up the winter months than a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway to Paris Hilton’s tropical island in the metaverse,” said Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox.

“Parisland offers a dazzling escape to sunny beaches, lighthearted romance, and genuine emotion as you discover and woo your romantic partner and celebrate with a destination wedding.”

Hilton also announced the news on her Twitter account, along with a brief video teaser and the registration link.

She captioned the post, “Get ready to party on the beach, pick up cute collectibles and explore my newest tropical Parisland metaverse! I’m launching a new experience in @TheSandboxGame on February 13th”

Other up-and-coming projects

Hilton has been staying busy lately both with her career and personal life. Announced just two weeks ago, Hilton will be releasing a memoir of her life on March 14, 2023.

According to Hilton, her memoir titled, ‘Paris The Memoir’, is her life story and will delve into the her most personal and private experiences.

“Growing up in the spotlight, everyone thinks they know everything about me but the truth is there’s so much more to my personal journey than meets the eye,” she shared in an Instagram post announcing the book’s release.

This announcement came the same day Hilton took to Instagram to announce she and her husband had recently welcomed a new baby boy via surrogacy.
