John Mayer is the latest celebrity victim of trespassing.

Police respond to alleged trespasser on John Mayer’s property

John Mayer seems to be the latest celebrity victim of trespassing, but fortunately, the artist was not home at the time. The incident was caught on camera and Mayer’s security team quickly called the police.

The intruder reportedly walked out of view of the camera, and by the time officers arrived, they found no one according to documents reviewed by TMZ. A helicopter was then called to sweep the scene over, but nothing was found.

The police didn’t search Mayer’s house, but security said that no alarms were triggered, meaning no one could have entered the house. Mayer was out of the house and preparing for his tour at the time.

Previous home incidents

This isn’t the first time Mayer’s home has been targeted. Back in 2018, Mayer’s Beverly Hills home was robbed. The culprits stole somewhere between $100,000 to $200,000 worth of goods according to Complex News.

Among the items that were stolen was the award-winning musician’s collection of vintage watches and various musical instruments. Similar to the trespassing incident, Mayer was also not home at the time.

Police at the time described the inside of the home as “ransacked.” No suspects were arrested at the time.

Other celebrity victims

Mayer isn’t the only celebrity to be targeted by trespassers recently. Drake’s Beverly Hills home was allegedly broken into in late January.

Similarly, ‘White Lotus’ star Jennifer Coolidge allegedly saw a man trespassing on her property earlier this month. Coolidge says she noticed an unknown man walking up to her home and hopping the front gate after reviewing the security tapes.

Similarly, law enforcement sources told TMZ that a man was arrested just this week for allegedly walking into Kim Kardashian’s gated community and making his way just outside of the property.

The suspect was arrested for a misdemeanor violation of a protection order, as Kim K got a temporary restraining order against him after claiming he visited her home multiple times in person. He is also alleged to have sent her gifts and other odd items.

The man is currently being held on $20,000 bail and will not be released until it’s posted.
