Prince Harry’s plans for King Charles’ coronation
It doesn’t look as though Prince Harry has any intention of remaining in the United Kingdom for a long period of time after the coronation.
Prince Harry isn’t expected to stay in the United Kingdom for very long when he heads there for King Charles’ coronation on May 6.
The event will begin when King Charles and Queen Consort Camila, who will then be crowned Queen Camilla, first appear outside Buckingham Palace in London.
While the celebrations will continue throughout the weekend until May 8, don’t expect to see Harry for very long according to recent reports.

The ‘Spare’ author is expected to be in the United Kingdom for just 24 hours according to The Daily Mail.
The outlet reports that Harry will witness his father be crowned at Westminster Abbey at around 11 a.m., before being back in the air and headed for the United States by 3 p.m.
That’s where he will celebrate son Archie’s fourth birthday with wife Meghan Markle.
Markle, along with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be travelling to the United Kingdom for the coronation, and will remain in California instead.
“Harry’s going to make every effort to get back in time for Archie’s birthday,” an insider told Page Six.
“It’s going to be an intimate party,” the source said with regards to Archie’s birthday bash.
The news comes after details of the coronation were recently revealed.
The coronation will be the first time Harry will be pictured with the Windsors since the funeral of the late Queen, and the first time since the release of his memoir, ‘Spare’, back in January.
Harry’s plans stand in contrast to those of Prince William
While Prince Harry won’t be staying in the United Kingdom for very long, his brother, Prince William, is set to have a big role in the coronation ceremony.
According to the Liturgy of the Coronation Service, the Prince of Wales will step forward and pledge his loyalty and allegiance to the King during the historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
He’ll then kneel before his father and place his hand between the King’s and say the Homage of Royal Blood, which is: “I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God,” are the words William will say.”
William is the only royal listed as honoring the king this way during the ceremony, with Prince Harry not having a role.
Prince George will also play a role in the ceremony. The nine-year-old will serve as Page of Honor to King Charles, making it the first time in modern history a royal who will be a future monarch will take part in the service.
