Princess Charlotte bestowed with unusual nickname by classmates

Princess Charlotte, third in line to the throne, behind her father, Prince William, and her elder brother, Prince George, has a new and unusual nickname bestowed upon her by friends at school.

What is Princess Charlotte’s nickname?

The little princess’ nickname among her classmates is “Warrior Princess”.

Princess Charlotte’s parents have unique nicknames for the seven-year-old as well, with the Prince of Wales referring to his daughter as “Mignonette’, a French term for “small and delicate’” and the Princess of Wales calls her “Lottie”.

The tree-climbing Warrior Princess

Royal expert Katie Nicholl explained that Princess Charlotte has a feisty personality and thus has earned the nickname among her young pals at the Willcocks Nursery School.

Apparently she earned that nickname because obviously, she is a Princess, but she’s quite a tomboy,” Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. “She loves climbing trees and she’s very much an adventurer, she was quite known for her feisty personality.”

“I’m wondering if that might be a nickname that will stick with her.”

Princess Charlotte’s “Warrior Princess” personality has been on display recently, as the seven-year-old has been accompanying her parents to more public events, including the August 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The energetic child made funny faces and appeared to be having a great time on the solo trip with her parents.

Princess Charlotte goes to Westminster Abbey

At a much more somber event, Princess Charlotte joined her family to say goodbye to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II at the late monarch’s funeral at Westminster Abbey in London in September 2022. Charlotte was the youngest child in attendance, and remained stoic and mature throughout the sad day as she accompanied her big brother Prince George.

At the funeral procession when the Queen’s coffin was at the Wellington Arch and about to be transferred to the state hearse, there was a brief, candid and endearing moment between the children.

“You need to bow,” the princess whispered to her brother, nudging him.

Prince George quickly realized his sister was right and bowed immediately.
