Reese Witherspoon states demands to make ‘Legally Blonde 3′

Reese Witherspoon revealed that the wheels are turning on the making of ‘Legally Blonde 3′, but first she has some stipulations — without co-star Jennifer Coolidge, the show will not go on.

Witherspoon, who starred as the fabulous Elle Woods in the 2001 ‘Legally Blonde’ movie and its 2003 sequel, ‘Legally Blonde 2′, has said that playing Elle is one of her favorite roles, attributing the fun she had with Coolidge to be a significant part of it.

The actress still has the original Elle Woods wardrobe preserved in a closet stylized by a Netflix duo who organizes homes. Witherspoon revealed her Elle Woods timeless collectibles in an episode of ‘Get Organized with The Home Edit’, and said in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight that Coolidge is the hinging factor when it comes to making of the next ‘Legally Blonde’ sequel.

“There is no ‘Legally Blonde 3′ without Jennifer Coolidge,” Witherspoon said. “I am beyond myself about Jennifer Coolidge.”

“She’s just one of those people who is so naturally gifted and funny,” the ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ star continued. “You can just tell people love her ‘cause she gets up there and everybody’s like, ‘I love her.’

“But she’s just done a lot of good work in our business for so long that it’s really nice to see her getting this incredible moment.”

Is Jennifer Coolidge up for a sequel?

Jennifer Coolidge, who plays Paulette Bonafonté, a lovable nail artist from Elle’s favorite salon, has said that she is eagerly anticipating to hear from Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor, the franchise’s writers, about reprising her role.

In an interview with Entertainment News, Coolidge said she had no further information about the movie, but that she was excited to hear more.

“I know nothing,” Coolidge declared. “I don’t know if they wanted to surprise me or something, ‘cause I hear about it a lot.”

“I heard that Mindy has this amazing version of our next round, but I haven’t seen it. I don’t have the call yet.”
