After the name of their son was recently revealed, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrated RZA’s first birthday on Saturday.

A$AP Rocky took to Instagram to wish his son a happy birthday, as well as posting a behind-the scenes look at the family.

“WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN 🤲” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA❤️,” he captioned the post, which included a pregnant Rihanna kissing him on the cheek while their son smiled at the camera.

Other pictures show the rapper dancing with RZA, as well as spending time together while shaving.

The final slide features a video of Wu Tang Clan founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard at an award show saying “We-Tang Clan is for the children.”

Celebrations come after baby’s name was revealed

The celebrations come after the baby’s name was revealed one year after he was born. They opted to name him after Wu-Tang Clan frontman Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, who goes by RZA.

Fans had speculated for months as to what the baby’s name was, though it appears Rihanna dropped hints about her through her fashion choices.

Back in April, the ‘Diamonds’ singer was seen wearing a ‘90s Wu-Tang jersey and sheer Saint Laurent skirt while dining with A$AP Rocky and RZA at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

Also, in August of last year, she was seen wearing a vintage RZA ‘Birth of a Prince’ T-shirt while out and about in New York.

Rihanna is a known fan of the Wu-Tang Clan, as she was spotted wearing the group’s merchandise back in 2017.

As for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, the couple are expecting to welcome their second child in the near future.

They also hinted at another major life event after Rihanna attended the Met Gala in a Valentino bridal gown.

“Shout outz 2 the bridal party….here come de bride #idoKARL#METgala2023,” she wrote on Twitter following the event, hinting at possible wedding bells in the near future.

The couple began dating back in 2020, but have been linked together as early as 2013.
