Shakira and Gisele Bündchen enjoy dinner together with their kids

Colombian singer Shakira and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, appear to be striking up a friendship after being spotted enjoying dinner together in Miami, with their kids, on Tuesday evening.

Shakira and her sons Sasha and Milan met with Bündchen and her kids Vivian and Benjamin at Makoto restaurant in Miami Beach, where the two women dressed casually with their kids in tow.

Bündchen wore a white button-down blouse with blue jeans, sandals, sunglasses, and minimal jewelry, while Shakira wore a navy dress, plaid button-down shirt, gray quilted purse, and white platform sneakers.

Both women have split from famous sports players

Both women have famously separated from their sports-playing exes. Shakira split from former FC Barcelona and Manchester United center-back Gerard Piqué in June 2022 after allegations that the footballer had cheated on Shakira.

The two had been together for 11 years, after they met on the set of her music video for ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’ back in June 2010.

Meanwhile, Bündchen finalized her divorce from former NFL quarterback Tom Brady in October 2022, after a 13-year-long marriage. The two met in 2006 through a mutual friend at a party.

Both Piqué and Brady announced their respective retirement from the world of sports after their breakups.

Since then, both women have been spotted enjoying their newfound singleness. Shakira famously released a diss track aimed towards her ex in January, instantly becoming a hit and becoming an anthem for women who have been cheated on.

Bündchen has been taking up Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is the face of a number of charities and environmental organizations. She has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program since 2009.

New dating rumors following Shakira

Since Shakira’s split from Piqué, Shakira has largely kept to herself, although she was recently spotted chatting with actor Tom Cruise at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, May 7.

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him,” an insider told Us Weekly.

“He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.”
