Shakira’s new song with Fuerza Regida: When will ‘El Jefe’ be released?

The new song will be dropping very soon and fans of the Colombian can see a preview on her social media networks.

Shakira has published a preview of what will be her new single will be called: ‘El Jefe’. It will feature the collaboration of the American regional Mexican music band Fuerza Regida.

The Colombian singer announced the title of her most recent musical work and the date of its premiere after the red carpet at the 2023 MTV VMAs, with the date set as Wednesday, 20 September.

This new single will be first time that the Barranquilla performer will venture into the regional Mexican genre, a style that until today she had not performed.

On 16 September, Shakira revealed a sneak preview of the new track.

“What is promised is a debt,” published the Colombian, who in a recent video on her official Instagram account promoted her song with the American regional Mexican music group.

The Colombian artist also revealed a moment inside her recording studio through Instagram. She is known to play the drums and guitar, and now apparently the “human trumpet” too, evidenced by her skill on the microphone in mimicing the sound of brass.
