Sofia Richie tied the knot with her now husband Elliot Grainge this past Saturday, and people were quick to notice that the bride’s brother was nowhere to be seen.

Rumours quickly started making rounds on the internet with fans claiming Miles skipped his sister’s important event due to neither of the pair posting photos with each other at the wedding.

Miles shut down any possible drama rumours on Wednesday when he posted a picture of Sofia and her now-husband, to his Instagram Story.

The caption read “Absolutely obsessed with you two,” he wrote. “Love you.”

Sofia later reposted the photo with the caption “Love you the most @milesrichie.”

Sofia and husband Elliot made their relationship Instagram official back in March 2021, before announcing their engagement in April 2022.

The real reason Miles missed the wedding

As per TMZ, a few days before the ceremony was set to take place, the 28-year-old musician started to feel sick. He eventually took a COVID-19 test, which came back positive.

Sofia reportedly understood why her brother had to stay home and stay safe, despite the pair being extremely close.

Sofia’s glamorous wedding

The wedding was packed with star names, including father of the bride, Lionel Richie.

Other big name attendees included Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Joel Madden and Paris Hilton.

Richie wore three custom-made Chanel dresses for the occasion, which took place in Antibes, France.

“I always had this vision of the big princess dress, and going big, but as I got older, I realized that I wanted something a bit more simple,” she told Vogue Magazine.

“Maybe ‘simple’ isn’t the right word because my dress definitely is not simple!”

A sneak peek of two out of three dresses were posted in a video to Vogue’s Instagram.

The first dress is long and form-fitting with sheer sleeves, lots of beading and frills.

The second, her wedding dress, is an elegant floor length gown with a halter neck and intricate details in the fabric.
