Fans of ‘America’s Got Talent’ can officially expect co-host Sofia Vergara to return for season 18, as the actress has reportedly struck a verbal deal with NBC and Simon Cowell.

Vergara will be joined by gal-pal Heidi Klum on the judging panel, along with Cowell and Howie Mandel.

What about the ‘AGT: All-Stars’?

Rumors circulated that Vergara may not sign the contract for season 18 of ‘America’s Got Talent’, which is the country’s most popular entertainment program, as well as being a hit around the world, as the ‘Modern Family’ actress did not appear in the ‘AGT: All-Stars’, causing fans to worry Vergara was finished with the show.

Vergara missed the ‘All-Stars’ show due to a scheduling conflict, as she was then filming her Netflix series, ‘Griselda’.

Sofia Vergara makes her excitement known

Sofia Vergara is all set to go in her role on the judging panel for season 18 of the show, which is set to begin filming summer of 2023.

The star posted a photo of herself perched in her judge’s seat, wearing a red dress and a statement necklace, her arms flung into the air in celebration.

Vergara’s fans responded enthusiastically, as the actress’ comment section blew up with encouraging messages.

“So excited to have you back!” one person wrote. “So glad you’re coming back! You’ve been missed!” said another.

‘Our excitement level is off the charts!” another fan chimed in. “No Sofia no Show !!!!!” another one declared.

“I love you on agt!! you’re the best judge,” another follower gushed.

Who chased who?

According to a source, both NBC and Cowell pursued Vergara to return to the show, as they found her personality to be enigmatic and played an important role in the chemistry of the judges.
