Just hours before the official kick-off time for the 57th annual Super Bowl, let’s take a look at what celebrities are rooting for each team.

This year’s Super Bowl is taking place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and will be played by the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. The game will begin at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcasted on Fox network.

Stars rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia native and comedian Kevin Hart will be rooting for the Eagles for apparent reasons. His love for the team goes above the average fan with Hart recently spending $16.5 million on an eagle and naming it after the team’s quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Another Philadelphia-born star, Bradley Cooper has been outspoken about his love of the team for many years. In 2018, Cooper attended the Super Bowl between Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots. He also recently narrated a promotional video for the team ahead of the big game, which was posted to the team’s Twitter account.

Other celebrities that are outspoken about their support for the Eagles include Miles Teller, P!nk, Tina Fey, Will Smith, Sylvester Stallone, Meek Mill, and Taylor Swift.

Stars rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs

Brad Pitt is one of the Chiefs’ most prominent fans. The star was born in Oklahoma before moving to Springfield, Missouri which is only around 160 miles from Kansas City. In 2020 he wore a Chiefs hat at the SAG Award ceremony red carpet after it was passed to him by a couple of fans. The Kansas City team also won that year’s Super Bowl.

Actor Jason Sudeikis who grew up in a suburb of Kansas City is also an avid fan of the team. In his Comedy Drama ‘Ted Lasso,’ which Sudeikis both writes and stars in, his character frequently wears Chiefs merch. He also told The Kansas City Star news outlet that “Kansas City just is part of my soul.”

Other stars that are fans of the Kansas City team include Paul Rudd, Melissa Etheridge, Rob Riggle, Henry Cavill, Heidi Gardner, Eric Stonestreet, and David Koecher.
