Taylor Swift has found a new way to get to the stage unseen, since fans blew her cover of arriving to the stage in a janitor’s cart.

Swift continued her ‘Eras Tour’ in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, with the sold-out show being her first of three at the Raymond James Stadium. Swift had 68,000 fans turn out for the performance, which was three hours long and had a 44-song setlist.

Swift ditched the janitor’s cart

Anticipation mounted as a janitor’s cart was being rolled toward the stage — as it has recently been uncovered the wheeled vehicle has been Swift’s trick to getting to the stage unseen. The crowd erupted as the broom cart moved swiftly along the walkway.

However, Swift was one step ahead of her fans again, and it turns out the cart was just a decoy. The superstar appeared onstage through a trapdoor, wearing a sparkling bodysuit and knee-high boots.

“Oh, hi!” Swift said casually with a smile and a wave.

How did Swift perform in Tampa?

Swift didn’t hold back in delivering a stellar performance, despite her recent breakup with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.

She opened the show with ‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince’, and performed the rest of the set flawlessly to an appreciative crowd.

Throughout the evening, Swift rocked one sparkly outfit after another, as she changed costumes several times to reflect the themes of the songs she was performing fromthe various ‘Eras’ of her career.

The singing superstar finished her performance from the seat of her grand piano, as the crowd cheered. Swift mouthed “love you” to the uproarious crowd, who did not relent.

“Oh, so you’re the best crowd, huh?” Swift said. “Okay, I love you guys.”

Did anything crazy happen?

The most unexpected part of the evening was the effect of the Florida humidity on Taylor Swift’s long, blonde hair — which was getting frizzier by the minute.

Swift started the show with straight, sleek locks, but as the evening progressed, she was rocking a beach-waves look.

“So this is actually our first outdoor show on the Eras Tour,” Swift mused to her fans. “This is going to just get curlier and curlier.”
