The 34-year-old officially achieved billionaire status in October of last year thanks to the earnings from the Eras Tour, which is the highest-grossing tour of all time along with the income generated from the value of her music catalog.

Swift wealth

According to the latest update from the Forbes real-time billionaires list (published on 5 October), Swift is now worth $1.6 billion, surpassing the previous top spot held by Rihanna, who is worth $1.4 billion.

Swift’s net worth includes an estimated $600 million in royalties and touring revenue, a music catalog worth an estimated $600 million and about $125 million in real estate.

The Pennsylvania native now ranks second on the overall list of the richest musicians, just behind Jay-Z, who has a staggering $2.5 billion

Although the singer is already the richest female artist in the world, she is expected to maintain that position, since the Eras Tour is not over yet and she could continue to accumulate significant added income.

By the end of 2023, halfway through its scheduled 152-show run, the Eras Tour had already grossed more than $1 billion, making it the highest-grossing concert tour of all time.

Meanwhile, the tour is expected to have grossed around $2.165 billion by the end of 2024, according to Pollstar, which would keep the Eras Tour as the most successful tour of all time with the global tour edging out Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which grossed $939 million.
