Although she is midway through her Eras tour, Taylor Swift is still working. During her week off from touring, Swift is reported to be flying to Liverpool to film a new music video.

According to The Sun, the ‘Lavender Haze’ singer spent 48 hours shooting at St. George Gall and Cunard Building in Liverpool. She was reported to be filming alongside actress Joey King, who starred in ‘Bullet Train’ alongside Brad Pitt last year.

The source suggests that Swift was inspired by Robert Pattinson’s 2022 movie ‘The Batman’ which also features the same buildings.

A different and unexpected location

The source revealed, “Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected.

“She had a break in her touring schedule so decided to use the time to get another video in the bag. She’s feeling more creative and inspired than ever.”

“Her shoot was an incredibly slick operation, with little fuss. Staff on site were politely asked not to have their phones on them and to sign non-disclosure agreements.”

Swift and King’s history

This isn’t the first time Swift has worked with King on her music videos. The actress appeared in Swift’s music video for ‘Mean’ in 2010. King was a child at the time, and played the role of the young girl who was ignored by a group of girls at lunch.

Regarding their latest collaboration, the source added: “Taylor loves a throwback, and is excited to celebrate Joey as her acting career has flourished.”

Taylor will not be performing again until Thursday, April 13 in Tampa, Florida, where she will make three stops at the Raymond James Stadium. She’s also the first female performer to sell out three shows in a single tour at that location.

According to The Sun, Swift is likely to be spending Easter in London, with her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who has been busy shooting his latest movie, a modern comedy adaption of ‘Hamlet’ in the area.
