‘Teen Mom’ star Ryan Edwards hints he’s ‘divorcing’ wife Mackenzie

‘Teen Mom’ alum Ryan Edwards is suggesting he’s divorcing wife Mackenzie Edwards in his latest Instagram post after returning to the social media app after nearly five years.

Edwards shared what looks to be a post from Gecko and Fly, and an entertainment website specializing in sharable pictures with quotes captioned over them.

“I trusted you but now your words mean nothing to me, because your actions spoke the truth,” read the Instagram post. The picture seems to be a couple kissing.

At the bottom of the image, the text reads “cheater and cheating quotes,” along with the website address.

“Your regret is coming… the good lord showed me what I need but not what I wanted,” Edwards captioned the image.

Roughly seven hours later, Ryan returned to Instagram to share more details about his relationship. This time he shared his thoughts in a comment on a photo of the couple.

Originally posted by Mackenzie last July, Ryan’s new comment reads: “Take wife down off this. I’m not proud of being married to someone that stays out in bars and goes home with others [sic] guys. Tomorrow can’t get here fast enough! Don you know what happens when u lay with dogs?….wait look at who I’m talking to. And then blaming it on my addiction yea divorce is the right thing.”

News outlets have been quick to decipher the cryptic comments. Ryan is possibly suggesting Mackenzie remove “wife” from her Instagram bio, which currently reads as “momma, wife, friend.”

He also might be suggesting Mackenzie went home with another man after a night out at a bar. At the time he wrote the comment, he seems to be planning to meet with a divorce attorney the next day.

Mackenzie has yet to respond publicly, and neither party has deleted any of the images they have together off of their accounts.

Ryans’s post on his account was his first actual post since 2018. However, last week he shared a quote that may have suggested trouble between the two.

“A nagging wife is as annoying as the constant dripping on a rainy day,” he wrote.

This isn’t the couple’s first rumor of infidelity. In 2017, there were several reports that Ryan moved out of the house and planned to file for divorce after he was caught cheating on dating apps.
