The $42.5 million property Jennifer Lopez has put up for sale

Jennifer Lopez is looking to cash in on her Bel Air mansion after officially listing the nine-bedroom home for a whopping $42.5 million.

The singer and actress recently tied the knot with Ben Affleck after the two officially rekindled their relationship in July 2021. From there they announced their second engagement in April 2022, 20 years after the first, and tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022.

TMZ reports Lopez and Affleck have been looking for a new home for well over a year and are currently living in a rental, but news of Lopez listing her property suggests they’re back on the hunt.

What does Lopez’s mansion offer?

Lopez first purchased the property from actor Sela Ward back in 2016 for $28 million, and the listing by Carolwood Estates - the brokerage company responsible for selling the mansion - says it’s a “rare and extraordinary estate” that is “set back behind gates on eight awe-inspiring acres.”

The estate covers an estimated 14,000 square feet and contains a private beach, a cottage for guests, a putting green and a pagoda with a fire pit. An outdoor amphitheater can accommodate up to 100 people.

The main house has a double-height living room that features a fireplace, bar, and a dramatic staircase with wrought-iron railings. A grand piano sits in one corner, while a separate library is panelled in light-coloured wood.

The kitchen features wood-beamed ceilings, a central dining island and a rustic chandelier. There is also a formal dining area, and a chef’s kitchen with a built in breakfast area and stone fireplace.

The home features multiple entertainment spaces, while upstairs houses the primary suite, which includes an office and study space, along with a massage and guest room.

As for the bedroom, it has its own fireplace, along with his and hers dressing rooms.

Affleck and Dunkin’ Donuts

While Lopez has been busy promoting her most recent movie, ‘Shotgun Wedding’, husband Ben Affleck has signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Dunkin’ Donuts according to ET.

Affleck recently filmed a commercial for the company, and the partnership also includes a donation to the actor’s non-profit, the Eastern Congo Initiative.

He was joined on set by Lopez, with a source stating they were well and truly in love.

“You can really tell how special their connection is,” the source told ET. “Jen just adores Ben, and they both lift each other up and make each other feel so happy. It’s really sweet to watch.”
