Taylor Swift’s long-awaited ‘Eras Tour’ begins on Friday, March 17 with a stop in Glendale, Arizona.

Fans have had to wait quite some time to see the 33-year-old return to the stage, with her last tour (’Reputation Tour’) taking place back in 2018.

Although Swift has kept busy since then - winning awards and selling millions of her latest album ‘Midnight’ - there’s nothing like seeing a live performance.

Here’s a look at some of Taylor Swift’s best live performances from over the years.

Medley performance at the 2019 AMAs

At the 2019 AMAs, Swift received the Artist of the Decade award to go along with six other wins on the night.

The wins made her the most awarded artist in the show’s history, and she marked the occasion with a spectacular medley performance.

From ‘Love Story’ to ‘The Man’, Swift touched on all the biggest moments of her career to that point, which highlighted just how many hits she’s had in her career.

‘All Too Well’ on Saturday Night Live

Although Swift has been a musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live’, it’s her performance in 2021 that stands atop the rest.

Fans had been clamouring for Swift to release the 10-minute version of ‘All Too Well’. When Swift got around to re-recording her album ‘Red’, they got that and more.

Swift’s performance dazzled audience members with its simplicity, as she performed in front of a screen, with backup dancers joining her in the middle of the stage by the end.

‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ from her 1989 Tour

Known for being a pop star, Swift took a different approach to her hit song ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ during her ‘1989 Tour’.

The song’s lyrics describe Swift’s frustration with a former lover who tries to rekindle their relationship, and she channels that energy into an edgy performance that sheds a new light on the catchy tune.

It’s no surprise the song has featured on the set list of three of her world tours: ‘The Red Tour’ (2013-14), ‘The 1989 Tour’ (2015) and ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’(2018).

‘I Did Something Bad’ from ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’

The ‘Reputation Stadium Tour’ came during the height of Swift’s feud with Kanye West, but that didn’t stop her from delivering when she got on stage.

The tour saw Swift turn up the volume when it comes to her stage presence, which was only amplified with eye-catching stage effects.

‘I Did Something Bad’ sees the singer deliver a performance that isn’t short on attitude, making it stand out from the rest.

‘Cornelia Street’ from Paris

Fans were quick to lift up their phones and turn on their flashlights for Swift’s performance of ‘Cornelia Street’ when she visited Paris in 2020.

With nothing but a guitar in hand, Swift delivered the personal song with just enough vulnerability that it can’t help but be a favorite amongst fans.

It’s no surprise many critics picked it as one of the highlights from her seventh studio album, ‘Lover’.
