“The Marvels” release first trailer

In the “Captain Marvel” sequel, actress Brie Larson leads a team of all-female superheroes. The first full trailer for “The Marvels”, premiering in November, was released yesterday.

The first feature-length trailer for Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels” debuted on Tuesday. The sequel to 2019′s “Captain Marvel” features a trio of all-female superheroes, led by actress Brie Larson. The film also stars Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon.

What is the new Marvel movie about?

“The Marvels” is the continuation of Carol Danvers’ (aka Captain Marvel) origin story and is based on the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel”, in which Vellani plays Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from Kree and looks for revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. She gets sent to another universe and her powers become mixed with those of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan. The unlikely trio must then join forces to figure out what’s going on.

Director Nia DaCosta is the first Black woman and just the fourth woman to direct a movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She wrote the screenplay along with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.

The movie will premiere in theatres on Friday, November 10, 2023.
