The Jonas Brothers hit the stage and performed during ‘Saturday Night Live’ on April 8, and the band gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from their upcoming album, ‘The Album’.

What new songs did the Jonas Brothers perform?

The episode, which was hosted by SNL alum Molly Shannon, saw the band open their musical performance with their new song ‘Waffle House’.

The song is the second single off their upcoming album after ‘Wings’.

“‘Waffle House’ was born from a simple but powerful idea: When you sit down with the people that matter most, anything is possible,” the brothers said about the song in a statement.

“This song isn’t about a restaurant, it’s about coming together with the people you love and making your dreams come true.”

They later performed ‘Walls’, featuring Jon Bellion, for the first time. Both performances saw the band backed by a choir.

“What an unforgettable night being back on the @nbcsnl stage for a third time together,” the band later wrote about their appearance on Instagram. “Thank you to SNL for having us and to the incredible @theofficialsuperstar.

“Shout out to our amazing band and @jonbellion@kirkfranklin for joining us last night on Walls and Waffle House. We are so grateful for all the love and support 💛.”

Jonas Brothers joined Shannon for a sketch

Along with performing on SNL, the Jonas Brothers also joined Shannon in a sketch that saw the return of her iconic character, 50-year-old woman Sally O’Malley, who first debuted in a 1999 sketch.

The band appeared on stage as they introduced O’Malley as their new choreographer, with their manager (Kenan Thompson) letting choreographers Gretel and Turbo (Bowen Yan and Chloe Fineman) know they are looking for a more mature concept.

“My name is Sally O’Malley. I’m proud to say I’m 50 years old. I’m not one of those girls who’s afraid to tell her real age,” said Shannon before going into her iconic “and I like to kick, stretch and kick” routine in her classic red and white two-piece attire.

“I’m 50! 50 years old,” she continued, with Thompson, Yan and Fineman all breaking character when Shannon hiked up the waistline of her pants.

The Jonas Brothers later walk on stage, ripping off their clothes to show outfits that match O’Malley’s, with the four performing a kick-and-stretch-dance routine.

Unfortunately for Nick, he is kicked out of the band and replaced with O’Malley when he flubs a move.
