The rule Beckham broke at Victoria’s party
The Spice Girls reunion from Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party went viral thanks to “Becks” ignoring one major rule.
Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday at the weekend with a lavish party attended by a number of A-list celebrities, including Tom Cruise, Marc Anthony and Eva Longoria. The bash even saw a Spice Girls reunion, with Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton also present.
The event was held at Oswald’s, a private club in London, and cost in the region of £250,000 (almost $312,000), according to British tabloid The Sun, who also highlighted a rule David Beckham broke when his video of his wife and her bandmates went viral.

On his personal Instagram account, “Becks” shared a clip of the quintet singing and dancing along to 1998 hit “Stop,” which has been viewed more than 40 million times and received over 1.7 million likes. However, it turns out the Inter Miami owner shouldn’t have done so.
According to Oswald’s regulations, recording videos and taking photographs is prohibited inside the VIP exclusive members’ club.
A source told The Sun: “Oswald’s is so private and exclusive, it doesn’t even have photos inside its club on its website”. However, it does appear that when you’re David Beckham, the rules can be bent somewhat.
“Taking pics or video inside is a real no-no as the venue likes privacy for all of its very wealthy, VIP members, but when you’re David Beckham, the rules don’t really apply,” the insider claimed.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star also posted an emotional birthday message to Victoria, who he married in 1999, on Instagram, along with a series of photos and videos from different periods in her life.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife… As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved & what you have built, Posh spice, business woman & of course marrying an England captain,” Beckham’s post began in jest.
“But your biggest success are your children, you guide them, love them & teach them… They love you beyond words, we all love you so much x Have a special day you deserve it all. 50 and fit. I AM BEING HONEST,” it concluded.
