The fourth season of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ is about to be released on the streaming platform Netflix, as the superhero series reaches its climax.
The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy, a superhero series based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá's comic books of the same name, is out later this week.
The Netflix show, which first hit small screens in 2019, stars the likes of Elliot Page, Tom Hopper and David Castañeda as a group of estranged siblings with superpowers who are reunited after the death of their father.
What is season four of The Umbrella Academy about?
After a significant twist at the end of season three, the siblings head into season four having lost their powers.
“The stakes are higher than ever before,” Netflix says. “There are new enemies who want to see them wiped from existence, but how do they face their enemies without their powers? And will the siblings ever get them back?”
When is The Umbrella Academy season four released?
The final season of The Umbrella Academy drops on Netflix on Thursday August 8, 2024. There will be six episodes - and, as is customary on the streaming service, they will all be released at once.
