It’s not often that the New York Knicks find themselves on the cusp of making it to the NBA Championship final and Timothée Chalamet, a diehard fan since childhood, is clearly in seventh heaven following his team’s progress through the postseason.
New York born and bred, Timothée was just three years old the last time the Knicks made it to the Conference finals. He was too young to remember that 4-2 defeat, curiously against the Pacers, and wasn’t even born when the team won their second ring in 1973.
Chalamet has regularly been seen cheering the Knicks on during the playoffs - his childhood home in Hell’s Kitchen is a stone’s throw from Madison Square Garden.
And he’s not only attended the team’s home games. The Dune actor flew to Detriot for the first round series against the Pistons and was in Indiana to watch Games 3 and 4 against the Pacers.
Joining him in the VIP celebrity row at MSG have been his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her sister Kendall, Ben Stiller, Spike Lee...
And he’s rocked some interesting, eye-catching looks, wearing his trademark Chrome Hearts-customized Timberland boots, embroidered jeans, orange cargo pants, a navy velour tracksuit - even a vintage vintage Knicks tee from the ’95 playoffs.
Let’s take a look at Timmy’s playoff styles:
