Now, in 2025, with an impressive 10-2 record, one person almost guaranteed to be there supporting him is his wife, Ann Michael Hudson.
Hudson has been a significant figure in the life of the rising NFL star, having recently celebrated nine years together. They met at William A. Hough High School in North Carolina and then attended the University of North Carolina together, where Maye became starting quarterback for the Tar Heels in 2022.
The couple tied the knot in June 2025 and Ann has shared some photos of the special day on Instagram since then.

Ann Michael Hudson graduated from the University of North Carolina in May 2025 with a degree in Business. While studying at UNC she was involved in various campus activities, including serving as the vice president of finance for her sorority, Kappa Delta. She has also gained valuable experience through internships, such as working for Piedmont Pennies, a North Carolina-based snack startup, and participating in Deloitte Consulting’s prestigious summer scholar program.
Hudson’s relationship with Drake Maye
While Hudson generally keeps a relatively low profile compared to other high-profile partners of NFL players, she has been a constant presence by Maye’s side, and often shares moments of support on social media.
She was there at the draft in April 2024, when Maye was picked third overall by the New England Patriots.
