Marisa Tomei: 40 years in show business
The actress, who was born in Brooklyn to an English teacher and an Italian lawyer, fell in love with the world of acting at a young age.
Her first role was in the series “As the World Turns” in 1983, and since then she has never lacked for work.
Tomei has shared the screen with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler and Hugh Jackman.
She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1993 for “My Cousin Vinny” and had two more nominations in 2002 and 2009.
Exactly 15 years ago, at the age of 45, she was considered by the magazine “FHM” as the 18th most attractive woman in the world.
As a result, she was approached by major fashion magazines and some of the most important advertising brands in the world. She even made an advertisement with NBA legend Michael Jordan.
Marisa Tomei: Single by choice
Her love life has always been characterized by her choice to be single and child-free.
