Tom Brady welcomes two new additions to his family

Following his recent retirement, Tom Brady showed off newly adopted kittens from the Florida humane society.

Tom Brady can add ‘cat dad’ to his list of post-retirement adventures after the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback adopted two Siamese kittens.

The now-retired NFL player took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his new adopted pets. He also suggested that his 10-year-old daughter was the mastermind behind the new addition to the family.

Daughter Vivian’s kittens

“Vivi wins again,” Brady wrote on his Instagram story. The video shows the two kittens playfully wrestling in their white marble home.

Brady also jokingly thanked his former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Logan Ryan and his wife Ashley Bragg Ryan for their involvement in the adoption.

“Thanks to @loganryan and @coolmombreezy this is what my mornings are like now,” along with several laughing and heart emojis.

He also made a point to shout out to the humane society where the kittens were sheltered previously.

“@humanesocietytampa they are in good loving hands now

Brady and his daughter, Vivian, volunteered at the shelter throughout his final NFL season, Ashley Ryan revealed earlier this month.

Brady shares two children with ex Gisele Bündchen, Vivian, 10, and Benjamin Rein, 13. He also shares a son, John “Jack” Edward, 15, with ex-Bridget Moynahan.

Volunteer work

Earlier this month Ashley Ryan also posted a photo of her, her husband, Tom Brady, and his kids all volunteering at the Tampa Bay Humane Society.

She wrote a lengthy caption to accompany the photo, which included a short video of Brady and Ryan petting some puppies.

She described her caption as “my Tom Brady story” and went on to describe the time they spent volunteering together.

“The dad who volunteered at the animal shelter with his kids throughout an entire football season. The one where he bonded with his kids over naming puppies and bottle feeding kittens,” she wrote.

She added that the picture and video she posted are from August, and that Brady and his kids showed up every other week to volunteer.

“Greatest QB of all time, no doubt. But I’m humbled most by the person you are off the field,” she ended the post with.

While volunteering Vivian fell for two of the kittens in particular, who are now seemingly very content with their new home.
