The “Yeah!” singer appeared in a skit on Apple Music’s X (formerly Twitter) account in which Kim Kardashian “calls him up” to deliver the good news.

“You’re doing the Super Bowl. You’re playing the Apple Music Halftime show in Vegas”, Kardashian tells the singer, whose reaction comes in the form of clips from the start of his music video for Confessions Part II. “Quit playing on me, man”.

Performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show will be a dream come true for Usher, who is known to be a huge NFL fan and was in attendance at Super Bowl LI in 2017 as his team, Atlanta Falcons, threw away a big lead against Tom Brady’s New England Patriots, who completed one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the showpiece game.
