What caused Jansen Panettiere’s death?
His family have since revealed that Jansen’s death was caused by cardiomegaly, or enlarged heart, coupled with aortic valve complications.
“Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications,” the family said in a statement to ABC News.
“We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning.
“We love you so much Jansen and you will be in our hearts forever.”
Jansen Panettiere’s career
Jansen was born on September 25, 1994 in Palisades, New York. He earned his first credits as a voice actor before appearing in Disney Channel’s ‘Even Stevens’, which starred Shia LaBeouf.
He would later go on to appear in shows like ‘Blue’s Clues’, ‘Major Crimes’ and ‘Everybody Hates Chris.’
Jansen and sister Hayden co-starred in the 2004 Disney Channel movie ‘Tiger Cruise’, and the 2012 film ‘The Forger’.
He also co-starred with Jamie Lee Curtis in ‘8,’ a reenactment of the Perry v. Schwarzenegger trial in 2012. The performance was broadcast on YouTube and raised money for the American Foundation for Equal Rights.
In recent years, Jansen had began to focus on his art, even launching a clothing brand that featured his original work.
“Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit,” Jansen’s family said in the statement to ABC News.
“His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered.”
