What did Tom Brady say about his marriage to Gisele Bündchen on Netflix roast?

The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, the celebrity roast special which aired live on Netflix on Saturday took aim at the NFL star’s 13-year marriage to Gisele Bündchen with numerous references and barbs directed at the supermodel and her new partner. Saturday’s show, which was co-produced by the the seven-time Super Bowl champion, was the first roast to be broadcast live, unabridged and unedited.

Brady roasting with references to jiu jitsu, sex

Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart with roastmaster Jeff Ross as master of ceremonies, the hour-long show featured jokes about O.J. Simpson, out-of-work legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick, Spygate and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft but some of the most cringe-worthy, expletive-filled moments were the gags about Brady’s relationship with Bündchen which ended in divorce in October 2022.

Hart went straight for the jugular, making reference to the new man in Bündchen’s life, jiu jitsu instructor Joachim Valente who is eight years her junior: “It’s been two years since Tom has gotten divorced. And since then, Tom’s been fucking. Tom has been putting that two-inch tool to work. Tom has been fucking so much; his dick has gotten CTE. You fuck him good. You fucked your coach but let me tell ya something: That’s what you gotta do to maintain your happiness. Sometimes, you gotta fuck your coach. You know who else fucked their coach? Gisele. She fucked that karate man…. eight karate classes a day, and she’s still a white belt?!”

Comedians aim barbs at Brady and Bündchen

Roastmaster general Ross quipped, “You really put the Jizz in Gisele” while Nikki Glaser took a pop at both the former player and his ex-wife: “Tom Brady. Five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns. You have seven rings - well, eight, now that Gisele gave hers back. The only thing dumber than saying yes to this roast was when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu...’”

Glaser waded in on Brady again with another reference to Bündchen and Valente with a putdown: “Your ex-wife’s new boyfriend can kick your ass while eating hers!”

Andrew Schulz joined in the mockery with, “That’s why Dana [White] is here, so you can learn how to fuck a Brazilian out of half their purse. Sorry, that was a Gisele quote!”

While the show got laughs at Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, and Brady chuckled at the roasting, Bündchen didn’t see the funny side and a family spokesperson told People that she is “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show. As always, her priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcast”.

Gisele began practising jiu-jitsu in 2021, which is when it’s believed she met Valente. They were publicly confirmed an item by the supermodel in an interview for the The New York Times. She also denied claims that she cheated on Brady before their 2022 divorce: “That is a lie. This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful” she told the newspaper.
