What do the most expensive VIP tickets for Taylor Swift’s concert at Wembley in London include?
The America singer-singer is back in in London for another five nights in the capital in August.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour hits London (again). After completing the British Isles leg of her whistle-stop, round-the-world tour last July with dates including Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff, where the 34-year-old treated her UK fans to a three-hour rundown of songs culled from her 10 studio albums as well as performing tracks off her latest release, The Tortured Poets Department.
Extra Wembley dates added to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
The original plan was for Taylor to play six dates at Wembley but due to huge demand for tickets, a couple of extra nights were added. After completing his first run of three shows in London, the singer jetted out to Dublin then back to mainland Europe (with the Vienna shows cancelled due to a security scare) before returning to complete a five-night mini-residency at Wembley in August (15-17 and 19-20).
In total she will play eight nights at the home of England’s national football team, equaling the record run set by Take That, who played the same number of sell-out shows to 623,737 fans during their Progress tour in July 2011 (Michael Jackson had previously held the record with seven nights during his Bad tour in 1988).
No tickets available for Eras Tour London shows
Tickets for all of the London shows sold out almost immediately when they went on sale late last year, although official ticketing agencies did hold some back that have been released little by little as the start of Swift’s Wembley stay approached, and some fans have been lucky enough to pick up tickets through resale agencies.
While most fans will have picked up standard tickets to watch the show from the stands or from the floor, some will have opted for exclusive VIP packages. There are two VIP packages available for the Eras Tour: The Karma Is My Boyfriend and Ready For It VIP packages. Both include early entry into the venue, to ensure a good viewpoint or even a spot right next to the stage.
Some VIP packages include a meet and greet opportunity where fans get the chance to personally meet the artist and can have their photo taken with them. However, Taylor Swift has not included that option in any of her VIP packages.
The Ready For It VIP package costs $449. The Karma Is My Boyfriend VIP package will set you back $749. The most expensive package is the It’s Been A Long Time Coming Package which starts at $899 and only available at select venues.
All of the Eras Tour VIP packages come with a box set bundle of merchandise which includes:
The main difference between the various VIP packages is the location of your seat - the priciest options offer better seating. Other perks include access to the VIP merchandise collection point which allows fans to avoid the crowds and queues at the main merchandise megastore.
Both merch sales points offer exactly the same range of products - the only difference is VIP package holders won’t have to wait as long to be served.
All VIP merchandise box sets are sent directly to each purchaser, although organizers stress that delivery may occur after the event date.
