What film are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck set to work on together?

After announcing Jennifer Lopez’s role in his company’s upcoming film ‘Unstoppable’ on Friday, Ben Affleck says he is really looking forward to working with his wife.

Ben Affleck boosts his wife

Ben Affleck is getting ready to team up with JLo on a new project from his production company, Artists Equity.

Affleck appeared with his long-time friend and co-star, Matt Damon, who is also Artist Equity’s co-founder, on CBS Sunday Mornings, where he talked about JLo’s work on his company’s upcoming film, ‘Unstoppable’.

“I’m gonna tell you who the lead actor is,” Affleck said. “We always hire the very best performers. And in this case, I can say every single person that’s been cast so far I think is the very absolute best choice.”

When asked if he would confirm if JLo is in the film, Affleck smiled and was coy in his response.

“She may be doing that movie,” he said. “Can’t make it look like she’s doing it as a favor to me, but actually she is.”

“What fun, what a joy to do something with her, see her be great, go to work with your wife, go to work with your best friend. If you don’t like who you’re working with, and if you have difficulty or trouble at work, I think it’s one of the things that can really cause depression, anxiety and pain for people.”

“And conversely, [if] you love the people at work, you probably have a pretty good life, you know?”

The ‘Unstoppable’ film

The movie is about the life of the one-legged wrestler Anthony Robles, who won a national championship in 2011 at Arizona State University. Jharrel Jerome from ‘Moonlight’ will play Robles in the movie.

‘Unstoppable’ will be directed by Billy Goldenberg, who worked with Affleck on ‘Air’, and ‘Argo’. Goldenberg was a three-time national wrestling champion and is expected to be very involved with the technical elements of the movie.
