According to the specialist website Celebrity Net Worth, Vergara has accrued wealth totalling around $180 million.
This is thanks not only to her acting career on both the big and small screen, but also a host of lucrative endorsements, and her work as a judge on America’s Got Talent. She receives around $10 million a year for appearing on the US reality TV show.
What’s more, Vergara has a range of jeans sold exclusively in Walmart, as well as furniture and perfume lines. In recent years, she has earned over $40 million annually.
Vergara’s Modern Family fortune
Vergara’s big break came when she landed the part of Gloria on the comedy TV series Modern Family, which enjoyed a successful 10-season run between 2009 and 2020.
In seasons one to three, Vergara earned $30,000 an episode, amounting to $2.6 million in total. In seasons four and five, her pay increased to $90,000 an episode - $5 million in all - and from 2014 to 2018, she pocketed $180,000 an episode, which worked out at $4 million a season. From 2018, her Modern Family salary hit $500,000 per episode, or $10 million a season.

In 2012, Vergara became the top-paid female actor on TV, receiving $19 million that year. She repeated the feat in 2013, almost doubling her earnings to $35 million. In 2015, she brought in $28.5 million.
In 2016, Vergara was the highest-paid female TV star for the third time, netting $43 million. Between June 2017 and June 2018, she earned $40 million from her Modern Family salary and her numerous endorsements. Between June 2018 and June 2019, she netted $43 million, receiving the same amount again between June 2019 and June 2020.
