What is the grand prize amount for the winner of ‘Big Brother’ Season 26?

The 26th Big Brother will premiere on CBS on 17 July, 2024, with filming beginning a day prior and running for 90 days, concluding on 13 October.

Big Brother 26 is set to get underway on CBS today (17 July) and will be the twenty-sixth season of the American reality television program Big Brother which is an adaptation of the massively successful franchise created in 1999 by John de Mol.

This year, the show will feature an artificial intelligence theme and will follow the classic format as the housemates live together with their every moves being recorded as they look to avoid the weekly eviction vote. This year’s edition, is set to run for 90 days, concluding on 13 October.

94 HD cameras and 113 microphones have been installed to record every move 24 hours a day in the Big Brother house and each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $750,000.

CBS have confirmed that the 16 new houseguests who will move into the house and, for the first time ever, have the power to vote in a 17th houseguest.

The 26th edition of the show airs on CBS with two shows to kick-start the new season, starting on Wednesday, 17 July and the following night (9:00-10:00 PM, ET) live on CBS television and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Following the two-night premiere, the series will air Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) along with the weekly live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen Moonves.

This season’s Houseguests include a celebrity chef, a former undercover cop, an event bartender, a former marine, a physical therapist and a crochet business owner, among others. This new group of houseguests will experience an unforgettable summer with jaw-dropping surprises as “BB AI” takes over the Big Brother house.
