Find out the surprise songs that Swift performed.
Taylor Swift continued her ‘Eras Tour’ at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday night.
On what was a rainy night, Swift performed her two surprise songs from her extensive discography for the crowd.
What surprise songs did Swift perform?
The first surprise song of the evening was ‘Question…?’, which is her from her most recent album, ‘Midnights’.
For the second surprise song of the evening, Swift performed ‘Invisible’, which is the 13th song from her self-titled debut album from 2006.
The singer also told the audience she learned her lesson about New England Swifties after her performance back in 2011: they don’t seem to care about the rain, and they have more fun with it.
She also stated that the first stadium she ever played was Gillette Stadium 13 years ago - with 13 being her lucky number - before calling Saturday’s show a rain show.
How Foxborough honored Swift
Cities have been rolling out the red carpet for Swift whenever she arrives for her tour, and Foxborough is no exception.
Governor Maura Healey conferred a “governor’s citation’, which was also approved by lieutenant governor Kimberley Driscoll, for the signer ahead of her three-show stop in Foxborough.
“The Eras Tour has been a long time coming, but we’re ready for the weekend of our wildest dreams,” the citation reads. “We’ll welcome you back forever and always. Thank you for making our Commonwealth shimmer.”
A spokesperson for Healey, Karissa Hand, explained why it was handed out.
“Governor Healey was having some fun with it and wanted to give Taylor Swift a warm welcome to Massachusetts and acknowledge the joy that her performances are sparking in so many local fans,” said Hand.
“It’s a great opportunity to welcome thousands of people from across the region to Massachusetts to visit our hotels, restaurants, and of course Gillette Stadium.”
