De Armas will be joined by musical guest Karol G, who will be performing new music from her album ‘Mañana Será Bonito’, which also became the first all-Spanish album by a woman to peak at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

What time will Ana de Armas host ‘Saturday Night Live’?

De Armas will host SNL on Saturday, April 15, at 11:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 CT / 9:30 MT / 8:30 PT.

Preparing for hosting duties

The ‘Knives Out’ actress has been preparing for the big night, as seen in a recent teaser with Chloe Fineman.

The two are seen hashing out ideas for skits, imitating birds and dogs, and at one point, De Armas grabs Fineman by the throat

Will Chris Evans join De Armas?

The Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated actress has been hard at work promoting her new film ‘Ghosted’, which also stars Chris Evans, and Adrien Brody.

The movie is a romantic comedy set in the world of secret agents. Evans and De Armas previously worked together on ‘Knives Out’ and ‘Gray Man’.

Evans recently spoke about his costar’s impending hosting duties and admitted that he has avoided taking up the gig out of anxiety.

“A cameo, I can handle. I’ve avoided hosting SNL like the plague for years now just because I’m so scared. It’s terrifying to me,” he told Entertainment Tonight Canada.

“To me, [hosting] would just be one of those things that every single night I would wake up in a cold sweat,” he further explained when asked if he would join De Armas on Saturday.

“A cameo sounds great, that’s perfect. In and out … get your toes wet.

“But hosting … I tip my hat to her. She’s going to be amazing. But it would provide a lot of sleepless nights for me.
