Shakira and Bizarrap will appear as musical and interview guests on the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
The show begins at 11:35 p.m. ET / 10:35 p.m CT on NBC. Lucy Liu and Damson Idris are the other guests.
“Excited to be back in NYC @bizarrap and I will be performing our session for the first time live on @fallontonight!” Shakira wrote on Instagram story, confirming that the duo will perform their successful “BZRP Music Sessions #53.”
“We’d love to hear from our biggest fans and see you performing the song -show us how well you know it and maybe you can be up close to us that day! Use #Session53NYC our teams will be watching”.
The duo released the song to global success back on January 11. It was viewed over 50.3 million times within the first 24 hours of its release, breaking the record for biggest debut for a Latin song in YouTube history.
In fact, during one 24-hour period during its first week, the video was watched over 82 million times, which broke the viewing record for a new Latin song.
Shakira spotted with Sasha and Milan
Ahead of her flight to New York for her appearance on the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Shakira was spotted at the airport in Barcelona with her children, Sasha and Milan, as well as her brother Tonino.
The singer wore a floral Dolce & Gabbana puffer jacket with matching baseball cap, to go along with black jeans, white sneakers, big sunglasses and a Balenciaga purse.
The kids wore similar blue hoodies, sweatpants and white sneakers as they held hands with their mother in the airport.
Shakira’s appearance comes amidst reports she is set to move to Miami in three weeks time.
It’s believed her wish to move there was a sticking point in her custody deal with ex-Gerard Piqué following their split.
She was expected to move to the USA following the end of the school year after it was initially pushed back due to the poor health of her father, however it now looks as though the move is set for April 1.
