What time will ‘The Last Late Late Show with James Corden Carpool Karaoke Special’ air?

James Corden’s eight-year run as the host of ‘The Late Late Show’ comes to an end on Thursday, April 27.

While the 44-year-old will host the show at it’s regularly scheduled time, fans of the show will also be treated to one final primetime special on the same night.

What time is ‘The Last Late Late Show With James Corden Carpool Karaoke Special’ being shown?

The primetime show, ‘The Last Late Late Show With James Corden Carpool Karaoke Special’ will air at 10:00 p.m ET.

It can be watched on CBS and streamed on Paramount Plus.

Corden will be seated alongside Adele for the final ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment, with the video having been released earlier this week.

Fans will no doubt want to tune in with word that Tom Cruise will also appear on the special in what the network have described as a final over-the-top sketch.

If social media is anything to go by, then expect something ‘Lion King’ related as the two were dressed as Timon and Pumbaa while at the famed Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

Corden took over as host of ‘The Late Late Show’ back on March 23, 2015, with Tom Hanks serving as the show’s first guest.

The two delivered quite the skit for the occasion as they acted out Hanks’ filmography in front of a green screen with plenty of outfit changes.

Cruise has appeared on the show in the past

Cruise is no stranger to Corden’s show, having previously appeared on the program a few times.

Back in 2018, the two went skydiving together, with Cruise convincing Corden to do a jump from 15,000 feat with him in Perris Valley, California.

“I’m just so impressed that James is going skydiving,” Cruise said. “Between you and me, I was half expecting him to text me and tell me he was cancelling.”

Corden added: “I’ve actually been trying to get ahold of Tom for the last few days to cancel, but apparently I had his number saved wrong in my phone.

“So, I’d also like to take this time to apologize to Tom Hiddleston for all the messages I sent him about my case of food poisoning.”

In May 2022, Corden joined Cruise for a two-day adventure that saw the pair take a trip in a pair of fighter jets.

“When Tom Cruise calls, you sort of have to say yes,” Corden said about the occasion.

Cruise joked about the trip, stating he was very happy that Corden agreed to take part.

“Was he the first late night show that I asked? Hell no. He was just the first one, the only one, to say yes,” said Cruise.
