What tribute did Tom Brady pay to ex-wife Gisele Bündchen on Mother’s Day?
The former NFL icon reportedly disappointed the Brazilian fashion model with his appearance on a Netflix roast show.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had a high-profile break-up to match their high-profile relationship but the NFL icon has shown this Mother’s Day that he still holds a certain amount of affection for his ex-wife.
How many children do Brady and Bündchen share?
The Brazilian fashion model is, of course, the mother of two of Brady’s children - Benjamin, born in December 2009, and Vivian, who came into the world in December 2012. Following the couple’s divorce in October 2022, they agreed to joint custody of their two kids, who they said would “continue to be the center of our world in every way” after their split.
And Brady’s activity on Instagram this Mother’s Day suggests they still maintain an amicable relationship as he paid tribute to Bündchen, as well as the other important mothers in his life.
What did Brady say about Bündchen on Mother’s Day?
“Happy Mothers Day to these kind, caring, compassionate and POWERFUL moms that I’m lucky to have in my life. None of this would be possible without your love,” the 46-year-old posted on social media.
Brady’s text was accompanied by photos of his own mother, Galynn Patricia Brady, as well as of Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan, with whom he shares his eldest son, Jack.
Brady in trouble with ex-wife after Netflix roast show
Was the post a form of peace offering from Brady to his ex-wife? Only days earlier, the seven-time Super Bowl champion appeared in “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Netflix, a show on which he was the butt of jokes from friends and former teammates regarding a number of different topics, including his marriage to Bündchen.
According to People, the Brazilian was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show,” with her children “affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted.”
Brady may be a worldwide sporting icon, but it seems as if he can find himself in the bad books just as easily as the rest of us mere mortals. But will an Instagram post with a few nice words be enough to get him back out of them?
