It’s almost time for the second season of Showtime’s thriller series ‘Yellowjackets’, which finds an all-girls high school soccer team stranded in a forest as they struggle to survive following a plane crash while on their way to the nationals.

Switching between the past, when the crash happened in the 90s, to the present where the adult survivors come to terms with what they experienced in the forest, season 2 is looking to further explore the horror the girls face in the forest and how it follows them as adults.

And here’s how you can watch it all go down.

When does ‘Yellowjackets’ season 2 premiere?

The season 2 premiere will stream on the Showtime streaming app and all streaming platforms that offer Showtime on Friday, March 24, 2023, with new episodes available to stream every Friday.

The premiere and all subsequent episodes will then air on the Showtime channel on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Where to watch season 2?

For those who don’t have access to a streaming app that offers Showtime, Showtime offers a 7-day free trial, after which the subscription costs $10.99 a month.

Prime members can also subscribe to Showtime with Prime Video Channels, which also comes with a 7-day free trial before becoming an additional $10.99 a month. The same can be done for Hulu subscribers and Apple TV+ subscribers.

Those with Roku devices can receive a 30-day free trial to Showtime, before the price changes to $10.99 a month.

Additional streaming options and add-ons can be reviewed on the Showtime website.

Showtime does not offer student discounts, but students who use Prime Student can still add Showtime to their Prime Video Channels. Eligible U.S. college students can also watch Showtime via their Spotify Premium for Students plan.

Cast for the second season

The series is created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, and Tawny Cypress as the adult versions of the girls, who will be joined by Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell in season 2.

Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson reprise their roles as the younger girls in the past.

Steven Krueger, Warren Kole and Kevin Alves will also return for season 2.

Elijah Wood will be coming on as a guest for season 2.
