Since its release in 2022, FX Hulu’s The Bear has become massively popular with fans and critics alike with the series scooping countless awards as we follow award winning chef Carmy Berzatto (played by Jeremy Allen White) upon his return to his native Chicago to manage his deceased brother’s sandwich shop.

Series One launched in June 2022 with the second season following precisely a year later on June 22, 2023.

Ahead of the season three release, there is more good news for fans of the show with the confirmation from Hulu/FX that a fourth season has been commissioned, one would assume for release in June 2024.

The third season sees owner Berzatto and his sidekicks of Richard “Richie” Jerimovich, Michael’s best friend and the de facto manager of the restaurant (played by Ebon Moss Bacharach) and Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) the young chef who joins The Beef to try and take the establishment to the next level, all while doing their best just to stay in business with every day presenting fresh and unforeseen challenges as Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.

Season 3 dates and episodes

Season 3 of The Bear will premiere in the US on Wednesday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Hulu with all ten episodes set to released simultaneously.

This strategy was confirmed by FX Chairman John Landgraff speaking to Deadline where he stated: “When we came back for Season 2, we debated, since we knew now that we had a hit, can we milk it a little bit? Can we roll it out over weeks, more Bear is better? We then thought that’s a rotten thing to do, to change it up for the audience,” he said.

Fans outside the USA can tune into the third season via Disney Plus.
