When is ‘Tomb Raider’ released on Netflix and how many episodes will it have?
The long-running ‘Tomb Raider’ franchise continues with a new animated series, starring Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft.
In a follow-up to Crystal Dynamics’ Survivor trilogy of video games, the Tomb Raider action-adventure franchise returns with a new animated TV series, which is set to premiere on the streaming service Netflix.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft features Hayley Atwell as the voice of Croft, the British archaeologist and adventurer who is the iconic central character of the nearly three-decade-old Tomb Raider saga.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft - synopsis:
“Lara must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor [her residence in Surrey, England] by a thief with an uncanny personal connection,” Netflix says.
“Her daring pursuit will take her on an adventure around the world and to the depths of forgotten tombs, where she’ll be forced to confront her true self and decide just what kind of hero she wants to become.”
When is Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft out?
The eight-part series is released on Netflix today, Thursday October 10, 2024. As is customary with the streaming giant, all episodes will be made available at once.
