What do we know about ‘F1′, the official movie of the race which stars Brad Pitt?

That Silverstone is the GP chosen to tease the film for the first time is no coincidence. In 2023 it was the setting chosen to shoot video of the actor racing in the car. British world champion Lewis Hamilton is one of the co-producers of the Apple film.

It’s directed by cinematography veteran Joseph Kosinski. The director has had successes in his career such as ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ (2022), ‘Tron Legacy’ (2010) and ‘Oblivion’ (2013).

What is Brad Pitt’s newest movie about?

The sports drama focuses on the life of a fictional retired Formula 1 driver named Sonny Hayes. After leaving the series after going through a crash, he goes back to become a mentor and partner up with a talented young driver named Joshua Pierce played by Damson Idris on the Apex Grand Prix (APXGP) team.

Pitt will be accompanied by other acting heavyweights such as Javier Bardem, Callie Cooke, Tobias Menzies, Kerry Condon, Sarah Niles, Eddie Eniel, Will Merrick and Samson Kayo, among others.

Some Formula 1 drivers will make cameo appearances, such as Hamilton and Max Verstappen. After the circuit’s attempt to bring adrenaline to the television format through the popular Netflix series “Drive to Survive,” it now hopes to duplicate its success on the big screen.
