Who is Audrey Eckert? Meet the USA’s representative at Miss Universe 2025
We bring you the lowdown on Audrey Eckert, whose victory at October’s Miss USA contest earned her a spot at Miss Universe 2025.
On Friday, October 24, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, rolled out the red carpet for another dazzling edition of Miss USA, where the successor to Alma Cooper (Miss USA 2024) was crowned.
After several rounds featuring swimsuit and evening gown presentations, along with the traditional interviews, the judges delivered their verdict: Audrey Eckert, representing Nebraska, is Miss USA 2025.
The 22-year-old couldn’t hold back her emotion when her name was announced as the winner. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær Theilvig, as last year’s titleholder, Alma Cooper, was unable to attend the event.
Who is Audrey Eckert, Miss USA 2025?
Born and raised in Nebraska, Eckert holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a specialization in advertising and public relations.
Eckert has been working as a marketing and social media coordinator for Sapahn, a Thai-inspired handbag brand. After her Miss USA win, however, the Nebraskan was expected to take a break from her day job to fully embrace her new role.
As Miss USA, Eckert will wear the crown for an entire year and receive a $50,000 scholarship package, along with nationwide travel opportunities courtesy of the Miss USA Organization. In addition, she becomes a contracted employee of the organization, earning a six-figure salary plus all expenses paid throughout her reign.
Miss Universe 2025: when, where?
The 74th Miss Universe grand final takes place at 8:00 a.m. local time on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Thailand. In the U.S., that translates into an 8:00 p.m. ET start on Thursday, November 20.
This year’s Miss Universe theme, “The Power of Love,” aims to celebrate unity, inclusion, and the transformative impact of women worldwide.
