The two tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in France this weekend.

Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge tied the knot on Saturday in an elegant star-studded ceremony in France. The youngest daughter of Lionel Richie said “I do” to the British music executive at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

The newlyweds were surrounded by their close family and friends including Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, and Cameron Diaz. The happy couple began dating in 2021 and remained relatively private about their relationship.

But who is Sofia Richie’s new husband? Let’s take a look at the music executive Elliot Grainge.

Who is Elliot Grainge?

Grainge is a record executive who was raised in the United Kingdom. He is the son of Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, so he has been in the music industry his whole life.

Grainge launched his own record label called 10K Projects in 2017 and signed rappers Trippie Redd and Tekashi 6ix9ine. According to Forbes, the label has accumulated more than 22 billion streams through its clients.

How did the newlyweds meet?

Richie and Grainge were friends long before they began dating in 2021. According to Entertainment Tonight the music exec and the fashion designer were “friends for years” and Grainge has always been close with Richie’s brother Miles.

The two kept their relationship out of the spotlight except for a handful of Instagram posts of photos of them together. They announced their engagement on Instagram as well.

According to insider sources, Richie loves that her husband keeps their lives out of the public eye. According to Us Magazine, the two of them are “homebodies but also enjoy going out together.”

Wedding Details

The two tied the knot on April 22 in a glamorous South France wedding. Richie wore a stunning custom Chanel gown to say “I do” and didn’t shy away from having multiple outfit changes throughout the day.

Richie wore three different custom-made Chanel dresses throughout the big day. Her main wedding dress featured an “S&E” embroidered with the date underneath to signify something blue for the wedding.

“It is such magic,” Richie said, describing the dress which she showed off ahead of time in an exclusive with Vogue. “I honestly think Elliot is going to love it. He is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to anything I wear. If he doesn’t cry, I’ll be very sad.”
