Country greats to take to the stage in Nashville
As usual, it’s a night to celebrate music and many of the artists who are up for awards will be performing on stage at the Bridgestone Arena. Several of them are no strangers to the CMAs, having performed live at the event numerous times - Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Megan Moroney and Keith Urban were just some of the stars who featured last year and have been invited back.
Brandi Carlile will be making her first appearance at the CMAs, although she is not strictly a country artist per se. The Country Music Association are keeping details of her performance a secret. It’s not been revealed what songs Kenny Chesney and Patty Loveless will sing at tonight ceremony.
