After months of waiting for this film to be out, the interest and excitement about ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ may be dwindling, and it’s not certain that the TV ad featuring Wonder Woman at the forefront of the commercial may have been the wisest decision.

Diana Prince is front and center in the campaign to promote ‘Shazam 2′ It seems to be working as fans share shots and videos from the preview on social media.
Previous trailers had kept silent on the Wonder Woman appearance, leaving it to fans to look for any clues about her cameo. However, this one leaves no doubt in viewers’ minds that she will make an appearance.
‘Black Adams’ flop may be a flawed model to follow
After the Academy Awards this week, Dwayne Johnson faces many critics who agree that the movie’s underperformance could be related to the Superman reveal before hitting the screen.
Unsurprisingly, Henry Cavill was dropped as Superman shortly after the disappointing turnout. He made a public statement via social media confirming “my time to wear the cape has passed.”
It seems that following in the footsteps of the marketing directives of ‘Black Adam’ couldn’t be the best idea. However, based on the feedback from the fans, it’s very possible that introducing Wonder Woman may do more good in favor of the film.
