With Beyoncé's ‘Renaissance Tour’ set to begin on Wednesday, May 10, no opening acts for the shows have been confirmed, prompting fans to wonder if each show will find the ‘Halo’ singer performing three-hour shows by herself.

Beyoncé will be starting her tour in Europe, beginning in Stockholm, Sweden, making her way to London by June, followed by the United States and Canada in July.

The tour will consist of 40 dates, including cities with multiple shows in London, Warsaw, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Inglewood, and her hometown of Houston.

Will Chlöe Bailey open for Beyoncé?

In an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’, Chlöe Bailey seemed to hint that she could be potentially opening for the megastar on her upcoming tour.

“Well, I’m definitely gonna see the show, for sure,” Bailey said about the ‘Renaissance Tour’. “And it’s been exciting seeing what I’ve been doing for myself. Like, I’ve never headlined a solo tour, ever. Sis and I never got to do it for ‘Ungodly Hour’ because we were in the midst of a pandemic so I didn’t really know what to expect going into it.”

Bailey also shut down negative rumors surrounding Beyoncé's lack of promotion for Bailey’s debut album ‘In Pieces’ released in March. Beyoncé has mentored a number of rising stars, including Bailey.

“I love Bey. And she’s supported my sis and I since we had our little locs on YouTube, so it’s all love over here. I love her.”

Beyoncé's return to live performances

Earlier this year, in January, Beyoncé performed her first live show in five years at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai at the unveiling of the luxury hotel resort Atlantis The Royal.

The performance was controversial as Beyoncé did not perform any songs from her 2022 album ‘Renaissance’ which was reported as being a tribute to black queer culture, in a country where homosexuality is still illegal.

Beyoncé has made Grammy history

At the 2023 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé made history by becoming the artist with the most Grammy wins celebrating her 32nd win, stealing the spot from conductor Georg Solti, who had 31 Grammy Awards.

“I’m trying not to be too emotional and I’m trying to just receive this night,” she said upon winning her 32nd Grammy.

“I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother, for loving me and pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children, who are at home watching.

“I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys. Thank you.”
